A Guide to Choosing Your Pickup Time
Whilst we are unable to advise specific pickup times for airport transfers, this is because factors such as airline requirements, check-in rules, security queues, road conditions, and individual travel preferences are outside of our control. For this reason, the final decision on pickup time must always remain with the customer.
As a general guideline, many travellers find it helpful to work backwards using the following formula when choosing their pickup time:
- Aim to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure for international flights (or according to your airline’s recommendation).
- Add the estimated travel time from your pickup address to the airport.
- Include additional buffer time to allow for traffic congestion, accidents, roadworks, weather conditions, peak travel periods, or unforeseen delays.
